ABC Teachers are seeking a Sports Coach to work with our secondary schools in Birmingham, covering P.E lessons and general day to day cover.

About the role

The successful Sports Coach will be booked out in advance of any booking, but when this isn't possible you must be available to answer the phone from 7:30am so that you can be offered work for the day.

Teaching pre-set Key Stage 3/4 students

No planning, marking or assessment, unless working long term positions

Managing an average class size in the absence of a teacher

Flexible accommodating hours

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:

Minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children, that we can reference within the last 2 years
Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly built a good rapport with students and staff
A passion for working with children, in a calm and authoritative manner

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

is 5 days in sole charge of a group of children.
