Infrastructure Project Manager job

Randstad technologies have partnered up with a financial services provider working with many of the UK high street banks and credit card providers.They are one of the leading names in their applied industry and are passionate and committed to providing high quality service

Currently the company is going through a rapid growth and technology overhaul and are looking to appoint an Infrastructure Project Manager to implement and deliver their new telephone and communications system.
The project is anticipated to last for 6 months and the client is looking for an experienced PM to start asap.

The role is a hybrid one with a need to travel to the Office in Caerphilly 1-2 times a week
Ideally successful candidate will have solid PM experience within ICT projects in a contact centre background.

You will be tasked with overlooking the implementation of new telephony systems and
managing the deployment of a UCaaS platform to all businesses across the group.
The role is responsible for the end to end project lifecycle and is accountable to the ICT
Portfolio Manager and the Project Steering Group.

The role will support the ICT leadership team, technical project engineers and workstream leads in the delivery of
defined Work Packages.

The role holder is responsible for managing deliverables to time, scope, cost & quality and will provide regular MI to stakeholders. The role holder will own the RAID log and effectively manage risks, issues and constraints using Link's
change governance tooling, processes and procedures.

Some of the duties will involve:
Creation of Project Charters, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, inorder to create and agree scope and objectives

* Develop project plans to monitor and track progress of ICT projects
* Track projects by working with technical resources to ensure timely delivery
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriateverification techniques e.g. three-point estimates.
* Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
* Regular Project reporting for ICT Portfolio Manager
* Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors, whilst supporting project
management activities for projects implemented by such providers

What the client is looking for:
Solid and proven experience in ICT project delivery
System migration management from on premise based to Cloud internet UCaaS platforms (Unified comminications) experience.
Solid understanding of contact centre operations, tooling, terminology and operational environments
Solid understanding on Citrix and RDS Thin App delivery
Solid understanding of Networking topologies and technologies

Solid understanding of project management methods, methodologies,
frameworks, terminology, and processes
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
