Technical Solutions Architect

Opportunity

This is an incredible opportunity for a Technical Solutions Architect to join a multi-award-winning technology company looking to double in size over the next few years. Hutchison Technologies partner with leading brands across leisure and fitness, retail and hospitality to design and install premium technology solutions

In this exciting and challenging role working in a technical presale's capacity, you will be responsible for innovating and creating technical solutions, providing our customers with an outstanding experience.

Passionate and genuinely excited about existing and emerging technology and the creative application of technology to push boundaries, you head up the technical solution design and development for many high-end projects. You will partner with our Sales team to pitch and deliver varying high-end technology projects. You will also partner closely with colleagues across the wider business to identify and prioritise opportunities, taking responsibility for the overview of the design and technical solutions.

Main duties

• Introduce our business to new clients, build and maintain relationships
• Face-to-face meetings with clients
• Own the technical design and specification of systems and solutions
• Interpret customer needs and develop technical solutions to budget
• Prepare technically accurate tender submissions to tight deadlines
• Produce technically accurate schematics and specifications documents
• Research technical solutions for customers and colleagues
• Develop technical capabilities of our Estimating team
• Ensure compliance and liaise with Projects to ensure they have everything they need to deliver the project
• Visit completed installations, ensuring client satisfaction

Essential

• Expert knowledge of Audio-Visual technology from simple background music systems, to advanced multi-zone systems with integrated control and automation
• Knowledge of Pro Audio systems
• Good understanding of IP networking
• Passionate about technology and previous sales experience in a technical role
• Immersed in the latest technology trends
• Provide guidance to customers and come up with technical solutions
• Ability to build relationships with a desire to succeed
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Full, clean UK driving license

Desirable

Ideally experienced in one of the following areas;

• Feature and effect lighting (DMX controlled)
• Aerial/satellite and signal distribution
• Interest in interface design
