Interim Finance Business Partner required for a market leading organisation based in Warwick.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting & Forecasting in line with annual business cycle
  • Production of Management Accounts, R&O, project opex / capex cost tracking.
  • Managing Store Controllable costs, being able to articulately analyse and explain the drivers of the key area of Store Payroll to Exec level audience and ensure sufficient Governance is in place for tight cost control.
  • Working closely with the Head of Customer Care, understand and drive performance of the outsourced Customer Care operation, helping to reduce cost per contact and increase Sales through that channel
  • First Class business partnering support for all levels within Retail Operations,.
  • Help drive the business forward through assisting in production of business cases for new business initiatives
  • Provide detailed CIAs of key strategic initiatives for presentation to PLC Board
  • Increase business performance by reviewing weekly Retail KPIs and providing analysis and insight into areas of under performance
  • Represent Finance within the Retail Ops team therefore ensure attendance and contribution at all relevant stakeholder meetings, etc...
  • Manage day to day activities and performance of Finance Analyst

Person Requirements:
  • Experience within Retail or fast paced sector, eg) FMCG
  • Preferable experience of Retail Store Operations, in particular Payroll.
  • C.3-5 years PQE (minimum) - preferably CIMA / ACCA but happy with ACA candidates with Retail experience.
  • Strong core finance skills of Mgmt accts, Budgeting and B/S.
  • Evidence of ability to provide strong financial insight / analysis
  • Strong Communication & presentation skills in order to create compelling Business Cases, CIAs and monthly performance decks.
  • Comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Mature and resilient attitude being able to manage demanding stakeholders and the regular changing needs of the business.
  • Comfortable being able to handle large quantities of data
  • Curious attitude and confident self starter, with desire to continuously develop self and drive business forward
  • Positive attitude to ensure good team fit
  • Strong excel skills to handle high volumes of data
  • Knowledge of SAP desired and Alteryx advantageous.
