We are looking for a flexible and dynamic individual to join the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Public Health COVID-19 Programme Team. You will support the implementation of the COVID-19 response and recovery utilising project planning, stakeholder engagement, communication, and administration skills.

This position will be remote working with some travel into Winchester office required

Accountabilities

Liaise with key stakeholders to research, collate and analyse information andundertake tasks as directed by the Programme Team and matrix team members.

Set up and maintain key project plans, logs and registers, ensuring the responsible officers are aware of actions and that these are followed up and logs updated on a regular basis.
Review progress on actions on a regular basis and draft update reports with support from the Programme Team.
Provide support, advice and training to matrix managed team on project tools / templates / systems to enable access and completion of documents.
Support key meetings including drafting slides, producing agendas, taking minutes and following up to provide updates on action points.
Identifying issues, benefits and risks that need to be brought to the attention of the Programme.
Successfully balance conflicting workload demands across the projects, make decisions on priorities, and provide appropriate support to the Programme Team.
Lead and personally deliver administration support for high level, complex tasks using databases/spreadsheets/Word and other bespoke or Microsoft office packages.
Identify what actions need to be taken to resolve problems or issues and escalate issues as appropriate.
Resolve issues either personally or through the Programme Team and refer more complex enquiries as appropriate.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Formal qualifications (minimum GCSE) or equivalent.
Experience of working in business or project administration.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral, together with evidence of effective interpersonal and influencing skills at a senior level.
Experience in actively contributing to projects or developing solutions and service delivery options.
Sound knowledge of effective project administration systems and procedures
Ability to demonstrate resilience to conflicting and competing demands, and the ability to proactively and independently manage and prioritise own workload.
Extensive experience and highly developed skills in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and similar IT systems.
Ability to critically review, evaluate and improve project support systems and propose and implement improvements.
Experience of data research, collation, and analysis from a variety of sources.
