The Engineering Maintenance Manager will lead the factory maintenance and facilities activities to drive a step change in performance by engagement of the stakeholder teams.

A leading multinational manufacturing business in Hampshire.


The Engineering Maintenance Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  • Responsible for cultural change of the department, to build an engaged and effective team of Engineers, capable of ensuring employee discipline is maintained and procedures are followed consistently, leading to improved performance.
  • Plan the installation of services and supplies to new or relocated cells and machines.
  • Ensure all remedial actions to plant / production / assembly and general building breakdowns, faults and defects are carried out.
  • Develop a maintenance management system to accommodate all key plant and equipment.
  • Consolidated stock parts for PPM AND TPM systems are kept to appropriate levels.
  • Source and procurement of spare parts to ensure critical parts availability to reactive break downs, consumable materials are available and stock checks are undertaken and current stock lists are maintained.
  • Project manage all building works and new equipment installation.
  • Manage sub-contractors whilst on site and relevant documentation for checking of contractor qualification.
  • Identify new plant equipment/machinery and project manage activities to completion within agreed targets. Ensure that facilities are aligned to new product requirements from bid stage through to Start of Production.
  • Manage Budget and associated Capital Expenditure controls and Capex.
  • Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety and Environmental legislation.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000 + benefits
