IT Project Manager

To manage the development, justification (business cases) and implementation of a number of cross functional projects which support the overall business strategy

Description

* To be responsible for the management of budgets, resource and risks of these (own) projects
* To assess projects against original business case post delivery
* To liaise closely with key stakeholders and team members to ensure flawless execution on time within budget and to actively manage issues and any conflicts
* Prioritise the needs and demands of a number of customers
* Provide input on the status of all projects to the Senior Manager - PMO regularly

Key responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling of tasks and tracking progress against these
• Communicating with delivery owners on actions required and monitoring progress
• Meetings with project teams to set direction and resolve issues
• Liasing with other project managers to manage resources and schedules
• Preparation of business cases/CIRs

Profile

• Relevant Degree Qualification
• Proven track record of delivering changes through people and technology
• Proven track record of managing large projects
• Professional PM qualification preferred (eg. PRINCE 2) or willingness to work towards.
• Proven track record of successful cross functional thinking and working
• Experience in managing digital projects
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and of prioritizing requirements of different customers
• Commercial awareness and general business knowledge

Job Offer
