Senior Compliance Associate

I am working with a forward thinking International Law Firm who are recruiting for a Compliance Associate to join their established team in London.

Reporting to a Senior Associate and working closely with the MLRO, this role will have a strong AML focus but also require advising on other risk management issues. Further responsibilities include:

· Providing legal advice to partners and fee earners on AML and financial sanctions legislation

· Provide compliance training for partners, fee earners and support staff

· Reviewing potential sanctions and escalating appropriately

· Assisting the team with complex CDD queries

· Identifying and analysing potential conflict issues

· Assisting and developing new compliance policies and procedures

This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Solicitor who has at least 3 years' worth of relevant compliance experience gained within a legal setting.
