Primary Teaching Assistant, Washington *January start*
Schools Mutual Services are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant for our partner School based in Washington that is a part within the Bishop Wilkinson Trust.
As an SEND Teaching Assistant you will
* Provide support for SEND students within the classroom, therefore relevant experience is necessary
* Deliver group and 1:1 intervention work
* Assist with day-to-day work within the classroom
* Uphold and promote the values of the school
* Supervise during break and lunchtime where necessary

Working in an Ofsted 'Good' Catholic primary school, you will support the day-to-day teaching of primary school children. You will be part of the current school team and be involved in parents evenings and in-house continuous professional development.
To be considered for the position of Primary Teaching Assistant within this school, you must hold a minimum Level 2 relevant qualification and have recent experience in a Teaching Assistant setting and excellent knowledge of the national curriculum. You will only be successful if you are able to: give educational references; have the right to work within the UK and hold a current update registered DBS (or be willing to undertake a DBS application).
