The Account Manager role is one that can really make a difference as it's at the hub of everything we do. Description of the goals of the role

Success will look like:
  • Deliver a highly proactive, reactive and responsive account management service and build close and trusted relationships with our client base
  • Acquisition and retention across multiple clients
  • Think outside the box, with fresh ideas which will engage with the audiences
  • To manage simultaneous projects and meet deadlines and collaborate with the team
  • Clients who are happy, value our input and are growing sustainably
  • A Rooster Punk team who loves working on those clients


Day to Day Role and Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of several accounts.
  • Hands on project management of campaigns including taking detailed briefs, preparing and presenting proposals, constructing budgets and timelines
  • To working closely with creative teams, copywriters and 3rd party suppliers to ensure projects are executed professionally, on time, and within budget and to client expectation.
  • To support the Account Director with the daily running of a busy client facing team


Skills and attributes needed
  • Classic Account skills which are to be a good persuader who is super-organized and yet creative!
  • A confident multi-tasker, used to a fast paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experienced in delivering projects with a solid track record
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; commercially oriented, confident, outgoing, articulate, persuasive.
  • Strong MS Office Skills
  • A confident and articulate communicator and ability to work collaboratively with incredibly passionate and hardworking team
  • Curiosity, passion and humility
  • Passion for great work, that does some good in the world


Personal qualities required

  • Positivity - we're educating the market and sometimes it's an uphill journey. We're a fun bunch of Punks and it's vital we keep having a good time on this Rooster ride.
  • Passion - stories need energy, both in the words and the environment they're born in; the Account team is at the centre of the agency and sets the tone!
  • Commitment - this is a start-up; there will be hard work and setbacks. It'll feel like a sprint but it's actually a bit more like a marathon.
  • Leadership - we believe in investing in youth; and that means we're looking for leaders who don't always have experience. Leadership can actually mean managing people alongside you and above - helping our growth through mutual support. Stepping forward when there's uncertainty or confusion.
  • Commercial pragmatism - this isn't about compromising principles, but about realizing realities and working within them and still doing amazing things, whether it's client's budgets or our own, we need to run lean.
  • A belief in better - that we actually CAN change the world.


Experience or qualifications preferred
  • At least 2 years agency experience within a creative or digital agency
  • Some knowledge of B2B and tech is useful, but not a pre-requisite
  • Self-starter, efficient time management and strong problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial and driven
  • A relevant degree and qualifications are required
