A small well-established Medical Communications agency is looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join its growing team in Berkshire. The agency culture is very flexible, hands on and everyone tries to help one another. The Candidate will play a key role within the team providing essential support in the development and execution of a full range of medical communication initiatives.

In this role you will support the Account Manager and Senior Account Directors to deliver high-quality Medical Communication initiatives for an array of pharmaceutical accounts. This is a multifaceted role in which the individual will hold multiple responsibilities and will be expected to liaise directly with third party suppliers and clients.

Experience & Skills Required:

The candidate must have a proven track record as a successful Account Executive/Senior Account Executive within a medical communications agency with excellent organisational abilities and a high standard of written and verbal communications skills.

To be considered for this role you must have good experience of supporting on a range of medical communication initiatives, be comfortable using approval systems (Zinc/Veeva), familiar with compliance/ code of practice and have the ability to work on a number of projects/accounts at the same time and successfully prioritise workload.

Knowledge in a variety of therapeutic areas and medical products is ideal but not essential. The candidate will be expected to maintain effective relationships with clients, providing progress reports on projects to clients under supervision of the Account Manager/Director. There will be the opportunity for candidates to develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders working within the therapy area(s) and provide high quality scientific support services.

Essential requirements:

* You must be a highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail

* At least one year's relevant experience gained from working in a medical communications agency

* The ability to support in the management of the daily running of client projects with successful execution

* An understanding of compliance regulations

* Experience in approval systems such as veeva

* Experience in preparing project materials
