Are you an Outsourcing & Accounts Manager from an accountancy firm background looking for your next challenge? The firm has many different clients they work with including sectors such as property, energy, international businesses, large retailers, technology start ups, and entertainment and media clients. Based in a very successful and supportive Outsourcing & Accounts Department, your role will be varied and will include managing a portfolio of important clients, managing a number of staff in the outsourcing department, and hands on work for the more complex management accounts and Vat assignments. You will also be able to get involved with ad hoc projects and things like cash flows, budgets, forecasting, assessing clients system, controls and procedures and acting as a virtual Financial Controller for numerous clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a medium size and well established team that will provide you with many growth and development opportunities in the future. The firm offers flexi / hybrid working so your role will be split working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
To be considered for this new role you must be fully ACCA or ACA Qualified (although the firm will still consider finalists or candidates who are qualified by experience). You must have at least 5 years experience in a good quality practice firm, in a role which includes management accounts, Vat, managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing work of more junior staff (ideally you will currently be working in an Outsourcing team for a good quality practice). You must have experience of various cloud based software packages including Xero, Sage, Dext and Quickbooks. You must be looking to work on a wide variety of good quality clients, assume high levels of responsibility and be looking for a challenging and interesting role with strong progression on offer.
