One of the fastest growing Software companies in the Northwest are looking to bring in an IT Support Engineer. Working as part of the Internal system support team, you will be providing support across several technologies that make up the private cloud SaaS platform.

You will be involved in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of all business-critical infrastructure systems. This role sits within a highly innovative team and organisation, constantly looking at new IT systems that will keep them at the forefront of their industry.

Location: Chorley - Hybrid office / Home based working arrangement in place in a permanent basis.

Salary: Highly attractive base + Benefits

Shift pattern: Monday - Saturday shifts between 07:30-21:30

On call: Out of hours support will be required. On call allowance will be paid for this 1 week.

Things we would like to see from you:
  • Previous experience in a 2nd Line Server support environment.
  • Virtualisation skills with Hyper-V and VMWare.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure, networks and software, both on premise and to the cloud.
  • Experience of using PowerShell.
  • Some knowledge of IT security protocols would be great.
  • Knowledge of ITIL.
  • Any certifications or a degree in an IT related subject would be great but is not essential
