You will contribute to and be responsible for aspects of the delivery of a wide range of highway, transportation, active travel, and infrastructure development related projects on a local and national level:
Reporting to the Discipline Lead / Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a small team of engineers, technicians and apprentices within own discipline working on a variety of projects.
You will be responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs and production of contract documents across a variety of projects.
Use your knowledge and skills in working together with the team and other disciplines in providing an integrated service to clients.
Help seek innovative solutions in achieving best value in delivering our services.
Help development of the team through the delivery of projects and commissions, providing technical and administrative support and leadership where required.

Made progress towards achieving appropriate related professional accreditation.
Proven technical experience of aspects of highway / active travel / development schemes.
Understanding of DMRB and other standards related to area of expertise.
Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Confidently present to external stakeholders including the client in areas of their expertise.
Good IT skills.
Ability to work within a global multi-disciplinary team.
Capable of managing workload subject to change at short notice.
Ideally, here's what you'll also have:
Experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
Experience of delivery of schemes and knowledge of Early Contractor Involvement or Design and Build projects.
Knowledge of different contract types and procurement options.
Able to contribute to well-presented and accurate reports.
Knowledge of the financial management and control of projects
Working knowledge of Civil3D / CAD or similar experience in related packages.
Experience of undertaking client facing roles and interest / ability in attracting new clients into the business.
Able to produce well-presented and accurate reports.
Experience in the delivery of Active Travel related projects.
