We are currently looking for a Finance Systems Analyst IT to join our IT team based in Solihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available. The role ensures effective delivery of relevant application services by leveraging specialist knowledge. Translates business requirements into functional specifications and effective, efficient and compliant business solutions. You'll work on business change projects but also deliver smaller change packages via the enhancement process and in addition provide specialist application and solution support for specific elements of the applications estate.Main Responsibilities

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity that calls for an experienced Finance Systems Analyst. Reporting directly to the Finance Systems Manager you'll have full responsibility for the following:

Working as a Subject Matter Expert for a relevant defined application & functional scope on business projects in line with business strategy
Capturing user requirements and solution options
Owning enhancements & project tasks translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deployment
Working on agreed projects and changes within the agreed time limits
Building solutions that comply right first time by design; possessing basic understanding of GDPR, SOx and GISP
Providing expert second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAs
Investigating incidents and identify and mobilise the resources required to aid resolution and escalate SLA breaches
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management process
Vendor liaison to support service delivery to agreed SLAs
Supporting the incident root cause analysis process and initiate problem management.
Supporting continuous process improvement • Ensures compliance with Internal Control processes and procedures. The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role you'll need to be:

Experienced in electronic data interchange management
An effective communicator to both a technical and non-technical audience
An innovative thinker, adept at defining & building system solutions from business requirements
Creative in systems design and rigorous implementation
Adept at problem analysis and solving
Adept at producing high quality documentation
Capable of quality process mapping
Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role.
