Key Account Manager

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Key Account Manager. This is a remote role, however the candidate must be prepared to attend clients and suppliers meetings in various location such as London and Luton. The successful candidate will earn £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

As part of the Service Deliver Team, the Account Manager, will be responsible for the renewal and expansion of the account through excellent relationship with the clients and a sound knowledge of the industry.

Role Requirements

Account management within the industry is necessary.
Experienced in communicating with client up to CEO level, including finance, procurement, and sustainability managers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competent IT, words, and Excel skills.

Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Knowledge of the utility industry and product, including value added and sustainability policies.
Positive and flexible approach.
Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work on own initiative.
Eager to learn new skills on the job.
Be able to engage at all levels.
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively and as part of a team.
Customer orientated.

Role Responsibilities (not limited to)

Serve as the single point of contact for all customer inquiries in terms of procurement and portfolio management.
Keep abreast of market trend to develop specific purchases strategies, engage, and communicate with the client.
Support client with their sustainability policies.
Manage annual contract renewal for gas and electricity. Including all reporting required by the client.
Support the successful onboarding of site additions to client's portfolios, as well as client's acquisition.
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts on annual plan.
Follow the tendering process to ensure that all contracts are renewed successfully.
Manage MOP agreement, KVA review and EV installation requirement, as well as any other value-added propositions.
Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the client and company.
Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs or expenditures.
Following up client to ensure they are satisfied with the company's products or services.
Responsible for maintaining a long-term relationship with client to ensure renewal and maximising sales opportunities.
Expand the relationship by continuously proposing solutions that meet the client's objectives.
Develop relationship with supplier to provide value added and ensure competition.
Service delivery:
Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by the client and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Focusing on growing and developing opportunities within the portfolio, by demonstrating expertise and present new initiatives beneficial to the client.
Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
Develop new revenue stream by developing new products.
