Are you a Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) Looking for an exciting new challenge?

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Registered Nurse to work in Ballater House (CQC Rating: Good) nursing home, based in Coulsdon.

You will be providing support to vulnerable adults who have a neuro-psychiatric diagnosis. Behaviors may at times be challenging due to their possible inappropriate nature and/or physical aggression.

As part of the clinical team, the Nurse duties and responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the development, review and delivery of care plans.

Supporting our service users with everyday activities.

Playing a significant role in assisting and encouraging our service users to engage in therapeutic activities and organised events.

Participating in clinical meetings as required and reporting areas of concern to the Manager.

Lead the care team in every shift.

Participate in medication administration, ordering and auditing.

Line manage support workers.

The successful candidate for the Nurse position will demonstrate the following:

Current First Level Registration on the appropriate part of the register held by the N.M.C.

Experience using hoisting equipment would be beneficial due to a high number of our service users being wheelchair users.

Flexible approach to working hours; this may include weekends and some night shifts.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
