Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE

Description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mammographer to join a non-for-profit organisation that prides itself on the care and development of their employees.

You will join a skilled and friendly Diagnostic imaging team, who can offer further learning with CPD courses and training available. You would become part of one of the busiest DI units within the group and working with consultants you will also make up part of the Breast clinic.

The team are backed by the latest diagnostic imaging facilities including wide bore MRI, X-ray, dental and CT scanning, and are able to offer immediate assessment and expert diagnosis.

As a Mammographer you will work with leading practitioners and help develop new practices, equipment, and facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

This is a Full-Time role, however Part-Time may be considered for the right candidate.

There are also bank shifts available; informal discussions are encouraged and welcomed.

Person Specification: To succeed as a Mammographer you will have;

High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization
Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable.
Post registration experience relevant to the role.
Excellent communication and team working abilities.
