About the Role:

An innovative housing association are seeking a Finance Business Partner to manage and develop a small team and provide effective financial planning, reporting and analysis for the customer relations directorate. This role will begin as a fully remote opportunity, and on top of paying up to 55k, they are offering attractive benefits including an excellent pension contribution.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all financial matters to the executive director and senior management team in customer relations, providing them with expert advice and support
  • Supporting customer relations team with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing /monitoring income and expenditure
  • Developing a full understanding of key business performance issues, objectives, and drivers for both current and future business challenges
  • Overseeing rent and service charge processing and accounting and performing key control account reconciliations
  • Providing reporting from housing management systems in line with internal analysis and external requirements

The Successful Candidate:
  • A qualified accountant with proven experience across similar roles
  • A solid understanding and experience of financial planning, reporting and analysis
  • Previous experience of managing and developing a team, and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across an organisation
  • Previous social housing/property experience is preferred
