The Marketing Communications team plays a key role in supporting the organisation as pursues its strategic goals.

Team Description

SWIFT's Marketing Communications team is responsible for translating business objectives and strategies into value-adding marketing and communications campaigns and activities. We are looking for an experienced product marketing professional from the payments, transaction banking or financial services sector with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-profile marketing campaigns and activities.

About the role

You will be the lead Communications business partner for all Payments Product teams, responsible for developing a deep understanding of the strategy, plans and commercial objectives for SWIFTs Payments products, channels and customers. Working collaboratively with the Product, Business Development and Communications teams, you will be required to design, develop and deliver marketing campaigns, content, events and go-to-market plans. This is a senior role within the Marketing Communications team and the candidate will be expected to have a deep understanding of the Payments industry and the ability to take the lead on several high-profile campaigns at any one time and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Communications consultant for Payments Product, Business Development and Go-to-Market teams
  • Act as the voice of the customer, defining customer value propositions and messaging frameworks for SWIFT products and solutions
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Payments industry trends, technology and evolving customer needs and behaviours.
  • Develop and support go to market communication plans for SWIFT propositions
  • Collaborate with other Communications teams to select the right mix of channels to meet campaign objectives
  • Track and monitor end-to-end campaign performance and ROI, ensuring lessons are applied to future campaigns and activities
  • Annual campaign planning to ensure resources are aligned with company priorities

Key skills required:
  • 10+ years working in Financial Services industry, ideally in the Payments, Transaction Banking or Technology sectors
  • Strong experience of product marketing, strategic marketing and stakeholder management
  • Payments product management experience is preferred
  • Good copywriting skills with the ability to create and edit compelling marketing content
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders, while working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop and deliver strategic marketing strategies, plans and campaigns
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, content marketing and events, with the ability to use data to judge campaign performance and inform decision-making.
