There is a huge amount of business change caused by disruption, including technology, regulation, or a factor in the broader environment such as Brexit and that gives rise to risk and uncertainty. Helping our clients identify and address those risks to give them and their stakeholders confidence in their business is the purpose of our new Risk Assurance Line of Service. As a business, we have been providing services related to risk within our wider Assurance practice. On 1 July 2020, we established this new Line of Service to better use the scale and breadth of our practice including many of the firm's experts in areas such as regulation, cyber security, listings, actuarial, accounting, controls and internal audit.
About Tech, Data & Analytics (TDA)

Our Technology, Data and Analytics (TDA) business unit is 600 strong and offers a range of high value services for organisations going through business and technology change. Our Mid Market Transformation (MMT) team specialise in helping mid-sized, UK based organisations navigate challenging Transformation programmes that are principally based on Microsoft Technology solutions. Our MMT team excels in de-risking these complex programmes and helping our clients to achieve their desired programme outcomes.

The Role

As a Business Change Lead, you will work with clients and partners to ensure a successful outcome to transformation programmes. This will involve:
  • Designing and implementing the change management and communication approach for complex transformation programmes.
  • Delivering key business change artefacts, including change impact assessments, communications, business readiness criteria, and process adoption reporting.
  • Determining and articulating how the implementation will affect teams, e.g. process changes and digital upskilling.
  • Identifying stakeholder groups and tailoring engagement activities to their needs.
  • Managing relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Managing the business change and training teams for each project and release.
  • Leading junior change analysts to deliver change deliverables.
  • Highlighting business readiness issues, e.g. resourcing, priority conflicts, busy periods.
  • Working closely with the client's communication lead to develop and align the programme communications approach.
  • Driving and measuring benefits to support programme benefits realisation initiatives.

Person specification
  • Experience in designing business change strategy in the context of digital transformation.
  • Proven record in successful execution of business change, training and communications.
  • Experience of managing business change in customer relationship management, finance, and/or operations.
  • Experience of stakeholder management, with the ability to articulate key messages to all levels of the organisation (both positive and difficult messages).
  • Confident communicator with an understanding of how to influence different stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to work in a logical and structured way in response to ambiguity.
  • Ability to develop creative and engaging materials that bring business change messages to life.
  • Experience of delivering business change supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions would be advantageous.
