Job/Group Overview:
UK Based Surveillance Technology subject matter expert with a credible and established track record of industry experience within a leadership role, covering the Trade Surveillance and Financial Crime technology domain. The position requires current knowledge of European surveillance regulatory landscape.

This strategically important role will support the development of the Surveillance and Financial Crime Technology strategy, leveraging the latest platforms, technologies and service and oversee project implementation. Credible and demonstrable experience within the field of automated surveillance, its management and the delivery of global change is essential.

A well-connected, active industry participant in one of these specialist fields is required and expected in order to provide the knowledge and industry insights that will drive innovation.

Job Responsibilities:
An advisor and subject matter expert within the field who will help to drive strategy and innovation
Responsible for the successful implementation of change programmes across the area
Team Leadership
Support the development of a technology strategy that spans the areas of Trade Surveillance and Financial Crime leveraging domain knowledge and industry experience.
Represent the Surveillance Technology function at industry forums to ensure knowledge and insights remain current

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
UK Based essential for local collaboration with Surveillance Compliance leads and key stakeholders.

Must have current knowledge of European surveillance and related regulatory landscape, trends and requirements.

In depth knowledge of and Subject Matter Expertise in Financial Crime and Trade Surveillance and related technologies.
A proven track record in delivering surveillance technology solutions
A connected professional with a track record of active industry participation and engagement
Detail-oriented and structured in approach to prioritization, analysis, planning and reporting;
Able to multi-task, manage multiple projects and work under pressure to deliver high-quality outcomes
Motivated - Sets high standards for self and others with a strong desire to drive innovation
Team player with good communication skills, able to work effectively within a global team
