Protocol Education are working with a school in the Huddersfield area who are after teaching assistants to support their students aged 4 to 19 with ASC (autism spectrum condition). Each student at this school has a EHCP (education health care plan). This school focuses on helping the students develop a love for learning which will stay with them throughout their life. This school aims to make sure the students are kept safe and healthy while working towards their educational and personal growth. With a personalized curriculum, the students are able to learn at their own level. This school promotes a positive approach towards life, while they are encouraged to be driven, hard-working, and self-confident individuals.

Responsibilities in this role:
•Support students in their educational and personal development
•Ensure safe and comfortable environment for students to learn
•Build rapport with the students
•Work as a team; both with the teacher and other staff members
•Use an innovative approach to presenting the material

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
