Job Description

Great opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to work with a leading specialist chemicals company based in South Cheshire working on a Top Tier COMAH site.

Experience / Training

Hands on experience in a mechanical, electrical or control & instrumentation role in a maintenance department supporting a 24 hour manufacturing operation

A minimum of five years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.

Knowledge of engineering procedures, specifically planning methods.

Planning contractor workload and planning annual maintenance shutdowns.

Flexibility will be required for the role as occasional out of hours working may be required for major shutdown periods or attendance of occasional off-site training or meetings.

Skills

Competent in Microsoft based applications Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Power Point.

Competent on SAP

Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and custodian of CMMS

Disposition/Attitude

A good communicator and able to constructively advise others and deal with situations of conflict.

Energetic and goal driven individual who will be willing to go the extra mile.

Able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

A team player who will enjoys interacting with colleagues, contractors and external parties.

Qualifications

A planning qualification

GCSE Math's, English & Science / Technology, Engineering based apprenticeship / NVQ level 3 / HNC level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
