EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A DEPUTY MANAGER. WE ARE SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL AND ENTHUSIASTIC AND CARING INDIVIDUAL TO BECOME DEPUTY MANAGER OF THIS HOME BASED IN WOOLSTON.
We are Care First UK Recruitment, a family run business who work no stop to place the right candidates to the right clients. This client's refined care home is very special offering engagement with the local community which is incredibly important to them and is a notable part of the local community.
Residents will be supported by friendly, experienced and professional staff who are highly trained in all aspects of care. We do as a home specialise in dementia care but are fully able and equipped to meet a multitude of care needs.
Staff have a firm commitment to exceptional care. The manager is well trained in all aspects of care and trained to level 4 of care to comply with the regulatory body requirements. The activities programme is extensive with an outside company providing a selection of activities to meet clients needs.
Your duties will include supporting the Home Manager, and deputising their absence, to undertake all aspects of managing the home, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained and adhering to all requirements and regulations. This will include care plan planning and implementation.
You will also assist in the developing of rotas. Full management of the staff team to include recruitment and appraisals.
An appropriate balance is needed between management and 'hands-on' work as per daily demands and challenges.
The Ideal Candidate

You will have experience working with Elderly care in a Residential Setting at a minimum of lead/senior/ Deputy Level.
You must be structured, be a natural leader who motivate teams and can organise rotas.
Be able to commute to Woolston, Southampton
Suitably qualified needs to be a prerequisite
To be work hour flexible although we will endeavour to consider your requirements
