Working within a small but specialist team, the role provides an exceptional opportunity for learning across event planning and logistics.

The role involves handling all aspects of event management, from initial planning through to logistics and on-site delivery. Events are held online, live and hybrid. Live events take place in the Windsor office and across Europe, some international travel may be required.

Working 3 days in the office and 2 at home.

Duties

Online Events

* Coordinate your own small events from start to finish

* Organise all logistical aspects (current platform is Zoom)

* Create and manage event website pages (WordPress)

* Liaise with speakers - invitations, CVs, general programme queries

* Coordinate with our external marketing team

* Produce and send pre- and post-event information to participants

* Attend and provide live online management support

Live Events

* Coordinate your own small events from start to finish

* Apply and secure course accreditation when applicable

* Create and manage event website pages (WordPress)

* Coordinate internal and external resources, including but not limited to venue, catering, AV, signage, dinners

* Liaise and coordinate with speakers - invitations, CVs, accommodation, airport transfers

* Assist participants with general event queries

* Liaise and coordinate industry participation and support (grants, course supplies)

* Coordinate with our external marketing team

* Produce and send pre- and post-programme information to participants

* Attend and oversee the smooth and efficient running of each event

Experience Required

The successful candidate will have experience in event coordination, or another relevant profession, with a demonstrable track record of planning and delivering events.

* Degree educated (desirable)

* 1-2 years' experience in event coordination, or another relevant profession (essential)

* Strong project management and organisational skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals

* The ability to manage many tasks at one time, and actively prioritise when necessary

* Good digital skills including use of Microsoft Office packages (essential) and WordPress (desirable)

* Competence in online meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams etc.)

* Remains calm under pressure and has a pro-active, energetic, and flexible approach
