A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP to join a highly reputable private hospital based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The service is ideally situated within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities. The hospital boasts state of the art facilities and the team are passionate about the quality of care that they provide. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP to join their friendly theatre team. The team put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP to join them. The service provides comprehensive diagnostic services and a variety of surgical procedures. The hospital has 5 operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as part of the theatre team and will be responsible for:

Scrub for major orthopaedic cases such as join replacements, hips, knees and spinal
Prepare operating theatres
Assist patients undergoing a variety of elective surgical procedures
Work well as part of a team
Who we're looking for

Valid NMC / HCPC registration - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
Experience working in an acute hospital setting
Min of 2 years experience with orthopaedics
Able to showcase excellent patients care
Strong communication skills
Participate fully as team member including working in all areas of theatre
