An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint an Interim Programme Manager, for up to 3 months in the first instance.
The postholder will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects to transform Community and Mental Health Services. Candidates must have proven experience in delivering transformational or change projects at this level within the NHS, ideally within Community Services or Mental Health organisations.
The role will be inside IR35 and will be remunerated under the NHSI Agency Caps at Band 7/8a.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage the implementation of projects to budget, time and quality;
Facilitate the delivery of workstream objectives;
Create implementation plans and measurable outcomes, including the evaluation of existing pathways and gaps in performance;
Develop sustainable transition plans and effective approaches for managing change;
Assume responsibility of all enabling workstreams including co-production with staff, carers, service users, carers, and coproduction partners;
Embed implementation planning processes in line with internal and external stakeholder requirements;
Provision of project management guidance and expertise;
Analyse and interpret local and national policies for implementation, ensuring all implications for the delivery of policies are identified.
The ideal candidate will have:
Masters degree or equivalent level of experience;
Demonstrable Project Management skills using a range of tools;
Significant experience of delivering transformational or change projects within the NHS is essential, ideally within Community Services or Mental Health organisations;
Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills.
