Location: Royston, Hertfordshire (initially remote with hybrid working when restrictions ease)


Rate: Up to £50 ph (Inside IR35)

Duration: 12 Months

An organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of machines for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical research industry are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop , test , document and maintain high-quality software for new and existing systems . You will participate in continuous improvement of the software group platforms , processes and techniques

Role of Software Engineer ( Contract ) - C# , .Net

Realising system requirements into designs and software codes

Ensuring that applications meet user requirements and provide great experience

Aligning applications with standards and branding requirements

Developing and completing required documentation

Participating in team and project meetings

Participating fully in continuous improvement activities ; designing and implementing changes

Working on additional projects

Qualifications & Experience - Software Engineer ( Contract ) - C# , .Net

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science | Software Engineering or equivalent

Fluent in software development with the .NET / .NET Core Framework and the programming language C#

Experience Microservice Architecture and .NET Core Web API to design and develop Restful webservices

Familiar with Git and the corresponding branching models using Pull Requests to ensure product quality

Knowledge in OR mappers like Entity Framework

Experience in using automated software build , release and test environments

Experience in UI development with WPF or React is beneficial
