Machine Vision Engineer

FTC 6 months - potential to be made permanent

Location: Reading

Salary - Negotiable DOE

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a Machine Vision Engineer to join their client, an award winning AI company based in the Reading area. Excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

Development of algorithms for processing and checking biological images. Automation routines, speed improvements and improving system safety and robustness. Assisting with optimising camera parameters on the device. Collaborating with AI, hardware and software development teams.

Required/Preferred Candidate Skills, Qualities or Experience

Working with MIPI/USB cameras, CMOS, colour cameras.

Experience with biological samples advantageous.

Experience with microscopy and imaging techniques such as fluorescence advantageous.

Working with live of moving images advantageous.

Working on low cost and CPU limited systems advantageous.

Experience with Android OS environment advantageous

Working Hours: Mon to Friday 9 - 5pm with 1 hour lunch

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

Benefits: 6% pension, private medical insurance, 28 days holiday per year
