Are you an engineer driven to make a difference and would like to take on a Continuous Improvement Engineer role for a leading manufacture near to Andover? As a growth position within the business this role is offering you autonomy to really get things done, a blank canvass, backed by the GM and senior managers on site all the way down to the shop floor, you can strategically assess, suggest and push forward great ideas, this is a rare and enticing prospect!

Working at site employing around 80 talented engineers and part of a global manufacturer, they can offer you a salary of ranging from £35,000 up to £45,000 dependent upon your relating CI/Lean experience. They are a well-established growing company who really do seek energy and a go getting attitude to own this role and really press the site forwards.

Tell me more! You'll have ownership over the sites CI activities, yet strongly supported by the Head of Manufacturing, Quality Manager, the GM and also the companies CI Director. They already have lean imbedded into a lot of their processes but there is certainly some low hanging fruit and longer term changes that you can get stuck in to.In this role you'lldefine continuous improvement ideas, lead Kaizen events,devise relevant KPI's/metrics and cruciallyensure continued buy in and accountability.

So What Do I need? You'll of course have a good set of Lean/CI tools already, you'll have accumulated experience already within engineering/manufacturing/production, proven and demonstrable success with CI projects and needless to say very strong influencing/communication skills ensuring shop floor upwards buy into your ideas.
