Trilogic Recruitment is acting on behalf of our client, who is a B2B company that primarily supplies the hospitality industry. Their products include online ordering systems, web development, web design, digital marketing, printing, electronic point of sale equipment, telecoms and more. Their head office is in Swindon and operates a relaxed environment.

About The Role

Our client is looking for a creative Digital Marketing Assistant to manage their clients' online marketing and help them to achieve their goals. You'll be responsible for designing content, liaising with clients, and publishing your work. This will be a fantastic role where you'll be looking after a wide variety of clients with several types of marketing methods (including social media, email, SEO, SMS). Your objective will be to provide an excellent digital marketing service to your clients through the creation of engaging campaigns that are engaging and look fantastic. This role will be varied, you will be required to assist in, and be a part of other products/tasks/activities. You'll be working alongside and learning from a Marketing Executive, and the Marketing Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Social media account management for new and existing clients.

Content creation for social media posts and websites.

Designing & sending email marketing campaigns.

Designing & sending SMS marketing campaigns.

Campaign reporting.

Proposing campaign ideas/strategies to help clients and key stakeholders.

Finding marketing solutions for clients, to fit their budget (up-selling when suitable).
The Successful Candidate

Our client is looking for a creative and confident self-starter who takes great pride in their work. With excellent organisational skills, a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

A dynamic individual who will enjoy a fast-paced environment with "last-minute" requests from clients and management. Business acumen and strong communication skills are crucial to articulate your ideas to a broad spectrum of people effectively. They encourage their employees to challenge the existing processes so that they can improve upon them.

GCSE grades A - C grades in Maths and English are required.

Required Skills & Attributes

Strong attention to detail.

The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

The ability to write engaging content.

IT literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, design software and other relevant online services.

Some usage and/or knowledge of the services and technology used in this industry (EPoS, kitchen equipment, food portals such as Just Eat & Deliveroo etc).
Bonus Skills & Experience

These are skills which may help your application, although are not required.

Knowledge of the hospitality industry.

Experience using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite/Buffer/Heropost.

Social Media Marketing experience using channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Email Marketing experience using email marketing tools such as MailChimp/Constant Contact/SendInBlue/AWeber, etc.

Experience with analytics software such as Google Analytics, Matomo (Piwik).

Experience with PPC marketing, such as Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Microsoft Advertising etc.

The ability to interpret basic statistics for reporting purposes and adapt ongoing marketing strategy.

Industry knowledge of relevant legal requirements, i.e. copyright, trademarks, GDPR, consumer rights, etc.

Experience editing a website using any CMS, for example WordPress/Joomla!/Wix.

Any knowledge of HTML/CSS.

Experience with SMS marketing (sending/limitations, opt-outs).

Knowledge of SEO.

Business development or sales experience.
