PERMANENT FULL TIME - OFFICE BASED

We are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Manager for a well established food manufacturing company. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential

We are looking for someone with solid management experience and has worked in a similar role for at least 3 years.

Job Role
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements and dealing with supplier/company details
  • Ensure supplier ledgers and accounts are fully updated
  • Issuing weekly and monthly supplier statements
  • Ensure key suppliers are accurately maintained to eliminate bottle necks in the purchase order process
  • Liasing with production personnel to resolve suppler queries
  • Scheduling and prioritising payments to suppliers
  • Regular reporting to Managers
  • Oversee and cover Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Maintain supplier statistic data
  • Integration of new suppliers and invoices

Person Specification:
  • Solid Management experience
  • High volume background
  • Similar role for at least 3 years
  • Team Player
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
