We are working with a leading firm of patent attorneys who require a newly trained or experienced secretary / administrator to join the team in a paralegal / team secretarial capacity. The role is based in Southampton and offers hybrid working, if preferred, with three days in the office and two days working from home. On a day to day basis you will be involved in:
* Maintaining client filing - all of which is electronic
* Scanning documents
* Typing correspondence and documents - audio and copy
* Managing daily, weekly and monthly reminders
* Preparing standard and ad hoc reports in Excel
* Assisting with emails, post, photocopying
* Working with paralegals in the team
This role would suit someone who has completed CILEX, recently graduated (ideally not in Law as this role offers career development in legal administration, not a training contract or similar) or has some work experience in the legal sector and enjoys administrative / secretarial tasks. Accurate touch typing skills are essential and these will be assessed at interview together with spelling and grammar. Advanced MS Office is also a must.
