CAD CAM Engineer needed for a well established and developing organisation with a great reputation and ambition for growth.

Working with the Production Manager a CAD CAM Engineer is required to drive the organisations development through to offline and CAD CAM Engineering. Company skills include Turning and Mill-turn and a developing Milling requirement. You will bring skills in offline programming to this typically at-machine environment.

Responsibilities will include:
Driving the roll-out of CAD CAM programming
Implementing Esprit (or similar) CAM packages
Develop close relationships with key production and shop floor personnel
Mentoring and training junior programmers and machinists
Analysing existing programs with a view to improving efficiencies and tooling times.
CAD design of parts to program.
Implement processes on machines to allow improvement

You will likely come via an apprentice trained education - perhaps with additional engineering qualifications.
A good machine-shop background is key as is an awareness of both milling and turning disciplines.
CAD draughting experience is useful.
