This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning and successful organisation that offers career progression and the chance to study further via their "Academy" which offers full and part funded learning. They are now looking for an experienced Portal Fee Earner to join their successful legal team. The team provides first class legal services and continues to go from strength to strength after the Reforms on May 31st 2021.

You will be part of an incredibly supportive team and based in state of the art offices. There will also be the opportunity to work from home (after initial "settling in period"). The ideal Portal Fee Earner will have previous experience of handling RTP Portal claims, prior to the Reforms. We need a proactive individual who has a track record of managing RTA Portal claims and enjoys this type of work. The role is busy and the environment is fun.

The key duties:

* Taking initial enquiries from claimants who have had road traffic accidents

* Responsible for taking all relevant information over the phone and explaining the process clearly to the client

* Managing each claim from initial call through to the completion of each case

* Prioritising a busy workload

* Submission of Claim Notification Forms to the Ministry of Justice Portal

* Manage cases through stage 1 t stage 3

* Collating all evidence and any other documentation and assessing accordingly

* Ensuring that DPA, GDPR, SRA and IS(phone number removed) standards are met and maintained at all times

* Ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times

* Negotiating quantum

* Other ad hoc duties as required

The working week is 37.5 and may have requirements to work until 7.30pm occasionally during the week
