About the opportunity:

Jacobs has secured multiple multi-year Contracts and Projects with leading Clients in the UK and across the Globe. Jacobs' Water UK is looking for skilled people to deliver on these fantastic opportunities in the Water Industry and beyond. We are recruiting Intermediate Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and ICA Engineers who are looking to continue growing their careers. We embrace flexible working and welcome candidates based throughout the UK and Ireland.

You will join our team of over 400 Water Professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects and become a part of a World Leading Company with excellent career prospects. You will be delivering project tasks, designs and working with Clients on water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities at various stages in the project life cycle, working within our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budget. About you:

You will have worked within multi-disciplinary teams having co-ordinated and supported junior Staff. You will be proactive and happy to take ownership of Client relationships and contribute to the growth of our business. We are looking for enthusiastic problem solvers who enjoy working as part of a large multi-national consultancy. As we move to a more flexible working arrangement, we require our staff to be similarly adaptable, agile and flexible in their approach to working.

Essential:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • All aspects of water and/or wastewater networks
    • All aspects of water and/or wastewater treatment works
    • Hydraulics
    • Mass water conveyance
  • Be approaching or will have recently achieved Chartered Status with recognised a Professional Institution
