Role Description
The Role

We are looking for a social media expert, who is highly organised and a creative individual with a passion for using athletes and sport as a vehicle to create connections with fans and consumers. Your role as Editorial Executive will report into the Editorial Specialist and will be split across two key areas of 9024's service offering - support delivery of our Academy social media education programme within football clubs and platform specific, best-in-class idea generation, on a day-to-day basis across our portfolio of elite talent.

What you'll be doing

Education Programme Management
  • Working with Editorial and Creative teams to create unique and engaging monthly session plans
  • Deliver, alongside Editorial Specialist, informative, energetic and engaging workshops each month to all players within the education programme
  • Manage Client relationships, deliver social media reports and schedule in sessions in a timely and professional manner
  • Be on top of platform developments and incorporate relevant topics into syllabus
  • Work with Acquisition team to grow our client list of football clubs

  • Always on approach to content idea generation on a day-to-day basis across our portfolio of talents
  • Support Relationship Management team to ideate, pitch and execute concepts that position our talents for social media success and/or brand interest
  • Monitor platform specific trends and feed back to the wider team/implement with content suggestions on a daily basis
  • Support Relationship Management team on match day support, ensuring our talent capitalise on all reactive opportunities
  • Work closely with Creative to ensure all content shared with Relationship Managers is fit for purpose and socially engaging

About you
  • 1-2+ years working in social media - responsible for engaging content idea generation as well as briefing/implementation
  • Passion for educating young athletes to be successful on social media
  • Confident presenting in front of clients and players is essential
  • Proven track record in development of social media accounts - working with individuals as opposed to only brands would be advantageous
  • Passion for and knowledge of football is essential
  • Ability to multi-task - this role is split between education programme planning (working towards delivering) and idea generation, both quick wins and longer form concepts
  • A hands-on attitude across all company departments. A real team player is required
