Protocol Education are recruiting for a teaching assistant to work in a Sunderland Secondary School. The position is to start immediately. The successful teaching assistant will be required to work on a full time basis, during term time until the end of the academic year.
The successful teaching assistant will be required to support in lessons with pupils aged between 11-16, or occasionally in small groups in order to support well-being and independence. The role will also require the candidate to work with students displaying a broad range of special educational needs and those who require additional support across various subjects.
The school is located within easy reach of Sunderland city centre. It is a diverse and multi-cultural school. The successful teaching assistant will have the opportunity to take part in a range of CPD and training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
