Working behind the scenes within a large public sector organisation providing financial administration support whilst continuing to develop your skills and experience in a busy and fast paced finance department.
In the Finance Assistant role, you will be:
Main point of contact for general finance administration tasks
Providing general administration and accounting duties to support the finance department in the day-to-day tasks, as well as assisting with the collation and inputting of data to the finance system and records
Responding to internal and external queries as well as providing advice and guidance to staff on finance processes.
To be considered for the Finance Assistant role, you must have:
Previous accounts, finance & administration experience
Excellent communication, organisation, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure and prioritise own workloads and manage multiple cases concurrently whilst maintaining high standards
Excellent ICT skills, including financial software systems and Microsoft Office packages
This is a full-time temporary role for 2 months initially on an hourly rate of £10.44 per hour plus holiday pay. Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week and will be office-based working in St Asaph however, due to the current circumstances, there may be requirements to work from home.
Please note this role is subject to a basic DBS disclosure
