The Area

Over Hulton is situated within a township. Links are excellent to Manchester via Chorley road and the A6, which crosses the Bolton to Leigh road. The M61 also passes to the north of Over Hulton making easy access to further area of Bolton.

The role
Working in Key Stage 2 (KS2) in year 4 will require you to have the ability to teach in a class with a wide range of abilities and support transition into the upper Key Stages. You will be required to set high expectations that are challenging but achievable, creating an environment where children have the confidence to learn independently, ask questions and develop through trial and error.

This is a great opportunity for either an experienced or newly qualified Primary Teacher who has experience in the Key Stage 2 or Higher Key Stage 1 to work as part of a friendly team with an aim to ensure that every child achieves their potential of these through the provision of a safe, warm, secure and caring.

Requirements

To be considered for the Year 4, Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), ECTS/NQTS will be considered.
Will have recent experience working in Key Stage 2 or primary education.
Make effective use of ICT applications
Ensure careful assessment, planning and marking
Work alongside TA's, SLT and other school staff members to ensure a consistent approach for children.
Have a passion for teaching and excellent delivery of inspiring and engaging lessons.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Resilience and ability to commit to tasks.
Good time management and organisational skills.
