Position: Contionuous Improvement Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (Negotiable)

A true global business and a major player within the UK Civil Engineering & Infrastructure construction and maintenance sector, this organisation also develops and produces pioneering bitumen and emulsion solutions for the sectors it supports which include Highways, Rail, Airfields, Local Authority, Ports & Harbours
Due to significant growth, we are recruiting for a Business Improvement Manager who will support its established hot product manufacturing facility in Warrington, Cheshire.
The Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager. The Business Improvement Manager will play a pivotal role central to shaping the future of the bitumen and emulsion product related business by implementing, monitoring and managing Lean Six Sigma principles.
The successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of continuous improvement for the whole the operation. Key responsibilities will be to embed, drive and clearly communicate a lean culture throughout the production cycle, collaborating with the SMT and actively contribute to future strategy planning
The Ideal Candidate will:
* be Lean Six Sigma Certified
* have a consistent Continuous Improvement background with experience of coaching and mentoring a team from the beginning of a "Lean journey"
* ideally be educated to Bachelor's degree level in engineering, manufacturing but not essential if experience is extensive
* proficient MS Office Programme user, particularly MS Excel
* be an exceptional communicator, both written and verbally
* has excellent presentation skills and can deliver change plans in a clear and concise manner
