This opportunity is an Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical bias) position with a national food company working in their modern facility in their experienced maintenance team. The successful candidate will be joining a motivated and highly-skilled environment where they can develop their professional and personal skills with a long-term vision. Based in South Yorkshire, you will be a key part of the maintenance team working across proactive and reactive maintenance as well as site projects and improvements when required.
To be a good fit for this job there are a few things you'll need. Firstly, you'll ideally need to be very confident across electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment, ideally the food industry or a fast-paced environment. If you are also confident working in multi skilled roles with good mechanical experience then this is also an advantage. You should be experienced in PLC fault finding across major brands. If you are a time-serviced apprentice (or equivalent) with supporting qualifications (e.g. 17th/18th Edition) then this is also advantageous.
However, if you do not meet all of the listed criteria but are looking to expand your skillset then do not rule yourself out.
