We are looking for a Project Manager to work across our range of electronic testing solutions, project managing all aspects of RF Shielded Rooms, Anechoic Chambers, Antenna Measurement Systems (consultancy, system integration, project management, installation and calibration of electronic test equipment and facilities). Reporting into the Managing Director of this business, which is part of a larger group, your focus will be to project manage all aspects from initial quoting, surveying, estimating, installation and handover RF Shielded Room, Anechoic Chambers, Antenna Measurement Systems and other related activities delivered by the company. Owning projects from inception to completion through the management of internal and external resources to deliver on time and on budget to the customer specification. You will be working across a range of blue-chip clients within critical infrastructure environments such as defence, aerospace, industrial, finance, broadcast, power, transport, telecoms, and space sectors.

Role Overview

The position will be responsible for the end to end project management of the various installations of RF Shielded Rooms, Anechoic Chambers, Antenna Measurement Systems.
Project Design and Scoping
Creating and interpreting technical designs and drawings using CAD software ie. Revit or Autocad
Supporting the sales team members in quoting and managing relevant sales opportunities.
Providing initial estimates, quotes and pricing to enable sales success.
Responsible for specifying and assessing the project requirements.
Visiting customer sites and premises to conduct surveys.
Technical liaison with suppliers and overall design responsibility.
Full Project Management ownership and Delivery
Coordinating the timelines, resources and costs.
Analysing the project risks and keeping these to a minimum.
Continuously monitoring quality, costs and progress.
Delivering project to programme through ensuring the overall project timelines and costs are adhered to.
Supply Chain Management
Responsible for co-ordinating the installation team and all aspects of Health and Safety whilst on site.
Negotiating with suppliers and contractors through maintaining good working relationships.
Conducting reviews of work carried out and ensuring specifications are met by supply chain partners.
Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Project Management experience within an engineering environment
Technical understanding of design and drawing including CAD/Revit applications
Ability to translate complex technical aspects to a non-technical audience.
Ability to deliver projects on time, against agreed targets, costs and objectives.
Able to liaise technically with suppliers and overall design responsibility.
Experienced quantity survey and estimation within a related discipline.
Ability to manage project records and storage during and post project.
Commercial problem solving / thinking.
Ability to handle multiple and complex tasks whilst working to meet deadlines.
Skilled people manager with experience of working in a multi-trade environment.
Facilitation / team engagement.
Competent across all Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
Ability to work to strict deadlines and proven experience within an engineering led environment
An understanding or appreciation of RF Shielding or Test & Measurement market would be a huge benefit but not required.
Able to travel regularly within UK & I to visit customers and partners.
Ability to present to customers and principals.

Salary :- £35k - £45k base + up to 20% Bonus, Potential Commission earnings, Car options, 9% pension, 25 days hols + bank holidays, Fitness Benefit, Self-choice volunteering days.
Location :- Office Based in Letchworth with Site Travel as required
