A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a part-time Fundraising Partnerships Manager to join Jaya Mental Health.
You will lead our strategy to establish, maintain and develop successful long-term relationships with generous philanthropic individuals, trusts, the corporate world and institutional donors.
The ideal candidate will need exceptional relational and communication skills, a genuine interest and passion for sustainable development work, a proven track record of successfully fundraising and the ability to grow income. You will be able to revitalise our strategy, harness and grow the expertise of the existing team and explore fresh and innovative approaches to create new relationships. Ideally, you will have some experience of working with mental health organisations.

To work alongside the Founding Director in securing funding to support JMH in-country programmes and ongoing running costs. To lead on sourcing major gifts, medium and major grants from Trusts, foundations and institutional / government funders, and the corporate sector. To strengthen, develop & maintain excellent relationships with current and future donors and key stakeholders and work with the rest of JMH's team in developing a fundraising strategy to further enhance income and build awareness.
This is a part-time position. The post holder will work from home and meet JMH's Founding Director and other members of the team on a periodical basis.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
. Research fundraising opportunities and take the lead on grant applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies.
. Build relationships with major donors and the corporate sector and expand numbers of pledge donors.
. Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database.
. Ensure all necessary funding reports are written and returned in a timely manner and that all associated paperwork is filed accordingly.
. Manage budget and ensure that targets are met.
. Account handling, ensuring major donors or companies are happy with their donation scheme and are kept informed of progress and milestones. Help maintain relationships with funders (including sending thank you letters, inviting to key events, informing them of relevant developments etc)
. Devise and organise fundraising campaigns. Spot fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the organisation's work.
. Represent JMH by attending, participating in & speaking at external events and activities.
. Recruit, organise and inspire fundraising volunteers.
. Professional attitude and conscientious work ethic.
. Confident, enthusiastic with a good sense of humour, compassionate and open.
. Excellent communicator at all levels both verbally and non-verbally.

. Minimum 3 years of direct experience in fundraising from trusts & foundations, corporate and/or public sector.
. A proven track record of successfully fundraising.
. Knowledge of the UK and international charity sector.
. The ability to foster and maintain strong and positive relationships with key funders and stakeholders in the sector.
. Excellent communication skills both spoken and written.
. Ability to manage own time effectively and to prioritise tasks.
. Ability to work from home and work independently.
. Willing to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
. Self-motivated with a positive and friendly manner.
. Good IT skills.
