We are looking for an ambitious Membership Acquisition Officer. This role is based within our Income and Marketing Department, reporting to the Membership Acquisition and New Product Manager

You will lead the delivery of our multi-channel membership acquisition programme to meet recruitment targets and KPIs, to help the Ramblers grow our membership income.

You'll also be supporting our new product development project, which is focused on how we reachmore of Britain's self-guided walkers.

Essential Requirements include:

Aproven track record (more than 2 years' experience) in recruiting new supportersor members to a charity.

Experiencein digital marketing for recruitmentof supporters/members.

A team player, able to developcollaborative, strong and effective working relationships.

Digitally savvy, with knowledge andexperience intesting new ideasthrough digital channelsand an early adopter of new technology anddigital products and platforms.

Proven experience inanalysing complexdata andbuilding testing plansto inform strategic decisions.

Innovative and solutions-focussedwith the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Aflexible and resilient approach, with acurious mindsetto explore opportunities and overcome challenges.


Interest inwalkingand/or being an advocate for theoutdoors and natural environment.

Experience in usingFacebook Ad Manager, ideally in lead-generation campaigns.

Experience of working withtelemarketing agencies.

Experience ofPrivate siteor using dialogue approaches to recruitment.

Experience in developingmulti-channel supporter journeysfor new supporters/members

Experience in using Salesforce or other CRMs
