Quality Assurance Lead

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with an NHS organisation in South Yorkshire to recruit a Quality Assurance Lead on an interim basis for an initial 3 months.

The role is offered on a full-time basis, will be fully work from home and requires someone with quality assurance experience ideally in the healthcare sector.

Duties;

• To support the Chief Nurse, ensuring effective quality assurance across all commissioned services
• Manage the Quality and Patient Safety Committee and the Clinical Quality Boards for main providers
• Develop a quality dashboard and maintain oversight of the monitoring of quality metrics to drive safe, high quality and compassionate care
• Produce a range of quality assurance reports to brief senior managers and high level committees/ groups
• Lead and manage the smooth running of the organisation's complaints' function in line with statutory requirements and the requirements of the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman

The Person;

• Ideally, experience working in a health care environment with multi-professional and multi-agency working
• Experience at operational level of the management of clinical risk, serious incidents and complaints
• Experience of complex data analysis, interpretation and monitoring with a proven ability to influence others to achieve change
• Experience of undertaking investigations and an understanding of national directives and agendas into appropriate local strategies and plans
• Strong leadership and motivational skills as well excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
• Ability to challenge and be challenged within the context of positive relationship management
