Do you want to make a difference in young peoples work? Do you want to work directly with young people on a one to one basis?

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN who require additional support in and around central Nottingham.

The young people in need of support require this due to their additional needs. The needs can vary but most commonly is ASC, MLD and associated needs.

Your role as a Teaching Assistant would be to assist the class teacher and possibly support other TA's in the room throughout the school day. Your main duties will include helping pupils with their work, assistance in group work activities, providing an alternative environment for the pupils to work to promote the pupils progress and help them reach their full potential.

The school require a Teaching assistant to match their ethos and values so the ideal candidate should have:

A patient, calm and caring personality.

Experience of working with SEN environment.

A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
