What we need from you
A passion for delivering great customer service, being a bus driver is much more than driving; it's getting to know some of your customers by name and being part of the local community.
To get started you'll need a car driving license that you've had for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
Once you've passed your assessment there are a few steps to go through before you start your training, including a pre-employment medical in order that you can obtain your provisional Category D on your driving license, we cover the cost of this medical for you.
If you're successful you will also be subject to random drug and alcohol checks during your employment.
Our drivers work across different shift patterns including early, middle and late shifts between 5:30am and 1am.
You'll be responsible for driving our buses and coaches carefully and safely, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and company procedures.
We operate bus services across Ayrshire, Arran, Stranraer, Dumfries, Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Cumbernauld where you'll advise customers about fares, taking payment via cash, contactless or mobile. Including travel passes and valid tickets
