Financial Mis-selling Paralegal

Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Financial Mis-selling Paralegal to join their team in Altrincham.

Our rapidly expanding client is seeking a driven a Financial Mis-selling Paralegal to join their friendly team. You will be joining a small but growing department of litigation specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Dealing with secret commissions claims from inception to completion

• Reviewing documents

• Regularly updating clients on the status of their case and liaising with third parties

• Calculating claim values

• Drafting court documents and letters

• Liaising with Court and Defendants

• Preparing witness statements

• Instructing experts

• Advising client of settlement offers

Requirements:

• Experience in financial mis-selling is essential

• An understanding of civil procedure rules

• Astute ability in drafting instructions to Counsel and attending conferences

• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
